My Strength Multiplies When I Choose To Stand On My Own

My strength multiplies when I choose to stand on my own.

There is power in numbers because support from others provides courage. But there is greater strength when I choose to be independent and realize my own power.

Although I value the support of my friends and family, I recognize that leaning too much on them results in dependency. I like being able to fend for myself.

I know that I am strong and valuable.

Relying on my own mind to make decisions causes me to think outside the box. I am creative when I choose to think for myself. I keep an open mind to new ideas that can benefit my endeavors.

At work I come up with my own creative ideas before group brainstorming sessions. Although working with a team produces a wider range of ideas, I like to be ready with my own first. This approach keeps my mind active and results-oriented.

Having the comfort of a stable job with little pressure leads to complacency. Although I like predictability, I prefer to push my boundaries and experience the unknown.

A new norm develops in my life each time I conquer a new experience.

Today, being strong means learning how to stand on my own two feet. It is a good feeling to have supportive cushions to fall back on, but I prefer to challenge myself first. Knowing what I am capable of is a victory in itself.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. How do I know when it is time to ask my support system for guidance?
  2. How do I strengthen my resolve?
  3. What are some ventures that I am interested in taking on alone?

The Achievements Of Others Push Me To Believe In Myself

The achievements of others push me to believe in myself.

There are many people around me whom I admire. Their positive examples prove to me that dedication and hard work lead to wonderful outcomes.

When I see how a college degree affords great work opportunities to my friends, I feel excited. They are proof that the effort I put in places me in a position for greatness.

Sometimes it is difficult to juggle studies with a full time job, but I persevere. I tackle each day as it comes instead of focusing on the long journey ahead. I also keep in mind those who make it through similar situations with fewer resources than I have.

My employer is a self-made success story and he is my motivator. Although I am an employee today, I use his example as a driver for my own entrepreneurial success.

Being able to own and operate my own business is one of my goals. I carefully analyze the examples of other entrepreneurs and learn their processes. It is possible to be motivated by others without ever coming into direct contact with them.

All it takes for me to push myself is looking at the accomplishments of the people around me.

Today, I am proud to be under the influence of successful people who pave the way. It gives me great pleasure to use positive examples as motivating forces in my life. My drive comes from seeing others achieve incredible feats.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. Where do I typically find sources of personal inspiration?
  2. In what ways do I reach out to mentors for guidance?
  3. What other elements play a crucial role in my ability to keep moving forward?

Life is too short and precious to live only for others.

I am a self-sufficient person. I pay the bills that require paying, I keep my priorities close to my heart, and I keep a nice home that I am proud to present to others.

By doing these things, I prove to myself that I am a responsible person and I am able to make decisions for myself.

Unfortunately, I am sometimes faced with people who feel as if I must take their way or the highway. That is unacceptable to me.

Sometimes, these intrusions can be as simple as a family member trying to sway me to marry before I am ready, buy a certain kind of car, or breastfeed my baby. Or it could be my neighbor insisting that we become best friends and that I spend every moment of my free time with her.

Regardless of the situation, I gather my thoughts and present them in the most respectful manner I can. Then, I simply let the person react as they may – my job is done.

It is unfair to me to feel as if I must live to please others. What about my wants? I need to tend to my own desires and values. Others must tend to their own wants and priorities and I must take care of mine

For this reason, I always speak my truth. Knowing what I want, I am free to let the ball roll in whichever direction the other party chooses.

Today, I stand by my values and refuse to be pushed in a direction someone else chooses for me.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. Am I able to vocalize my opinion when necessary?
2. Do I set clear boundaries with others?
3. Do I often feel trapped into a situation because I have a difficult time saying no?

Comforting Moments Do A World Of Good In My Life

Comforting moments do a world of good in my life.

I am so blessed to have supportive people in my life. They bring me encouragement when I am feeling down.

My mother is an integral part of my foundation. She inspires me because of her strength and fearlessness. I lean on her whenever I feel like things are falling apart. Her kind words and warm hugs restore my faith.

Hearing a loved one express their positive view of me is wonderful. They remind me that I have so much to be thankful for.

When I take a moment to process their sentiments, I feel reassured that the sun always comes up after a rainy time in my life. My zest for life is restored when their comfort envelops me. It is like a shield against self-doubt and fear.

Comforting words are good for healing when I am struggling emotionally. Sadness and anger slowly dissipate when I seek words of comfort from my loved ones.

My friends encourage me to cry when I am experiencing negative emotions. Having them around to hold my hand makes it easier to release those feelings. Knowing that they are there reminds me that it is okay to lean on others at times.

I feel lighter when I release negative emotions from my soul. Letting them out into the universe gives me a sense of freedom.

Today, I treasure my friends and family who offer me comfort when I am facing a difficult time. Their strength is my refuge. I feel safe when I am surrounded by their support and love.

Self-Reflection Questions:

  1. In which situations do I turn to my loved ones for support?
  2. How do I feel after coming out of a difficult emotional time?
  3. What coping mechanisms do I use to maintain my emotional strength?

I am happy with myself. I relax and enjoy my life.

Laughter is a common sound around me as I live my life joyfully.

I watch a child in the park running and playing and I hear his genuine laughter. His mind is undivided as he fully enjoys every moment. He is truly happy and carefree. I am this child.

It is true that I have responsibilities and a busy life. Each day, as I look in the mirror while getting ready to face the world, I make a decision. I choose the kind of day I permit myself to have: today I choose to be happy.

As I travel through my day, come what may, I breathe deeply and smile. I feel the lighthearted happiness of the child playing in the park. When I close my eyes, I am there and I am happy.

My life fills me with joy, and I accept this joy as the sustaining part of my life.

Today I allow my spirit to play at the park. My body may be at work but my spirit is reaching for the trees as I swing higher and higher.

I look into my mirror and I choose to be happy. I breathe deeply and I make the conscious decision to enjoy life.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. Where was my favorite place as a child?
2. If my day begins to go astray, can I choose to begin again?
3. When I close my eyes, can I travel to my happy place from my childhood?
